What is the difference between continuous flow and pulsed flow?
Pulse flow concentrators deliver the required oxygen only when you breathe in. While continuous-flow oxygen concentrators provide a constant flow of oxygen, regardless of whether you are inhaling. Continuous flow is suitable for those who need a non-stop oxygen supply, while pulse flow is mainly used on portable oxygen machines for lower power consumption and longer battery life.
What is a nebulizer and nebulizer therapy?
Serene 3 home oxygen concentrator has a nebulizer function. A nebulizer is a medical device used in respiratory therapy to deliver medication directly into the lungs in the form of a mist. It converts liquid medication into fine particles that can be easily inhaled by the patient. Nebulizer therapy involves using a nebulizer to administer medication for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, and more. It is suitable for patients of all ages, and is highly effective in delivering medication directly to the lungs, providing quick relief and targeted treatment.
Can I use Serene 3 overnight?
Yes. The high-quality compressor in Serene 3 allows for continuous use 24/7. It operates quietly with a noise level as low as 48 dB, so you can sleep soundly while using it over the night.
Can I use Serene 3 with a CPAP machine?
Yes, Serene 3 is compatible with common CPAP machines. Yet we recommend you check the specifications of your CPAP machine to confirm its compatibility with oxygen machines.

I currently also own the VARON VH-2 Pro. This unit is in my bedroom. I use it while sleeping. I also have an Inogen one G5 (pulse mode machine) in my living room. I decided to get a second continuous flow unit. I've been so happy with the VH-2 that I decided to stick with Varon. So I got the 3L Premium Oxygen Machine for Home Serene 3. I've had it for about a week. I use this in place of the inogen unit. Extremely satisfied so far.
Got my order super quick and it's amazing!!!! I use it for sleeping only and it's so quiet my husband was actually checking to make sure it was running.
The concentrator is great. The delivery took a lot longer than expected and two phone calls to find out what was going on. It was delivered from out of the country and not in the USA when ordered. Works great, is quiet, and is well worth the investment, especially for those suffering from the recent smoke, heat, and humidity. Overall an excellent item. If you are in need quickly I would contact customer service prior to purchase.
I bought this unit for an extra one in the house. I have a concentrator in the bedroom that I just use at night. During the last few months I find it helpful to use oxygen a few times a day. I use the new one in my computer room. And boy, it sure does its job. I am very pleased with it so far.
I already have the Serene 5, which I use at night on level 3, and I bought this one as a spare for the living room. It runs just as smoothly as the bigger one, perfect for occasional use during the day. Really good value for the price.
Very nice machine. I used it overnight together with my CPAP, and it kept my blood oxygen level above 96%. It’s quiet and easy to operate. Exactly what I needed.
I just received the machine today. Haven’t had the chance to use it yet, but feels solid and well-built. It’s actually smaller than I expected, which is a good thing.
