VH-2 home oxygen concentrator has a nebulizer function. A nebulizer is a medical device used in respiratory therapy to deliver medication directly into the lungs in the form of a mist. It converts liquid medication into fine particles that can be easily inhaled by the patient. Nebulizer therapy involves using a nebulizer to administer medication for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, and more. It is suitable for patients of all ages, and is highly effective in delivering medication directly to the lungs, providing quick relief and targeted treatment.
What is the difference between continuous flow and pulsed flow?
Pulse flow concentrators deliver the required oxygen only when you breathe in. While continuous-flow oxygen concentrators provide a constant flow of oxygen, regardless of whether you are inhaling. Continuous flow is suitable for those who need a non-stop oxygen supply, while pulse flow is mainly used on portable oxygen machines for lower power consumption and longer battery life.
Is VH-2 PRO heavy?
NO, VH-2 PRO is not heavy at all. Although it is a home oxygen concentrator, it is rather light and compact. Weighing only 14.99lbs, it allows you to move it around your home or take it to your car with no trouble.
Can I use VH-2 PRO overnight?
Yes. The high-quality compressor in Vh-2 PRO allows for continuous use up to 48 hours. It operates quietly with a noise level as low as 45 dB, so you can sleep soundly while using it over the night.
First of all let's me state that I am 78 years old. I was diagnosed with emphysema several years ago. Four years ago my pulmonologist suggested that I go onsupplemental oxygen since I'm now in stage 3/4.
For the last few years I have been using an INOGEN 1 G5 portable oxygen concentrator. These run about $3600.00. I bought another one from a different company for $900.00. this is a paired down unit. No battery, carrying case or power cord. My original unit failed after about 4 years. I contacted INOGEN and they promptly replaced it free of charge. Then about a month ago my backup unit failed. That’s when I decided to look around for a less expensive unit. I decided on the Varon VH-2 PRO.
I am extremely happy with this machine. Especially because it is a continuous flow rather than a pulse flow machine. It is quieter than the INOGEN unit too. I also love the remote control. I set it at 2 lpm. This keeps my oxygen level at about 97.
I highly recommend this unit!
I purchased this product to aid in the recovery from Rotator cuff and labrum surgery and it working wonders to help manage with the inflammation and pain. Definitely recommend this product!
This is a quick video on installing my wifes new Varon Vh-2 Pro in our full time RV. The unit was moved from our bedroom to the fifth wheel trailers basement using an IR extender cable set. The unit by the bed receives the remote signal and sends it to the unit in the basement. Easy install and removed the noise and heat from our room.
I used a Cable Matters Infrared Remote Extender Cable 25' from Amazon.
Have purchased 6 Varon products... from portable to household use machines... 2 portables... 4 stationery models... All (except one stationery model which failed out of box and because i had it for a year before i needed it for backup when it failed, it was not repaired or replaced... it was never used a single minute when it failed out of box) have performed very well and as good as one expensive brand supplied by insurance... I am disappointed the failure was not replaced but these machines have done the job of more expensive machines at an affordable price...
Works well, just not quite as efficient at levels 3 and more as larger unit. Oxygen at 78% at level 3 down significantly from level 2. This is not a bad trade as this unit is much easier for travel.
I’ve had basically the same thing for several years and it worked great until it burned out. Since I was pleased with that one I ordered another. It took a long time to receive the new one after it was ordered even though I paid for expedited shipping. My granddaughter thinks it’s louder than my old one but the only thing I’ve noticed is a soft clunk sound like a pump trying to pump water that I don’t use.
My oxygen concentrator works great. The best thing about it is the noise level , I have it next to my bed. My rented concentrator was so load and very big. Keep it in our spare bedroom because it was so load.
Shipping was quick and machine was not damaged. Set up is easy. Display is very bright but easy to see. Don’t need machine talking to me but haven’t checked to see if I can turn off audio. This machine is VERY QUIET. You can use it right beside the bed or chair where you sleep. Will not disturb others in the room. The price is extremely reasonable. I hope it will be durable.
When I was released from hospital, sent home with rental oxygen concentrator. Was $90 month. Decided to purchase, as only need once in a while now. Love it.
Easy to use, quiet, keeping track of hours. And brought on recent trip where altitude was 10k feet. Came in handy!!!
Love the unit. The size is great. Very quiet.
My only dislike is that the lights are very bright. I removed the water tank and covered the led lights with tape to mellow the brightness. Other than that I am satisfied to thos point.
We have used the unit for 140 hours and still going strong. Having to refill the water each night was a bit tricky at first, but got a dose syringe that let's me put the exact amount of water in to the small reservoir. Thanks.
