Common pulse flow oxygen concentrators deliver oxygen only on detection of breathing. VP-2 has two modes: In sensor mode, it outputs oxygen on detection of your inhalation; if the inhalation is too mild to be detected, it will automatically switch to auto mode and supply oxygen every 3 seconds. This function ensures a more reliable oxygen supply, especially for those with shallow breathing.
How to replace and charge the battery?
The battery of VP-2 is designed for effortless replacement in just 3 steps: 1. lay the machine flat; 2. pull and hold the trigger; 3. push on the trigger side and slide the battery out. The battery can be charged in two ways: 1. when the battery is attached to the machine, simply connect the machine to AC/DC power with the corresponding power cord to charge. 2. when the battery is disassembled from the machine, connect the power cord to the independent power port on the battery to charge it. Check out the VP-2 manual for more detailed instructions.
Is the battery included in the package?
Yes, the machine comes with the battery and other accessories in the package list. You can also buy spare batteries separately in-store for extended use time. We provide two types of batteries: 1. default battery of 6360 mAh, sustaining up to 3.5h; 2. extra large battery of 10400 mAh, sustaining up to 6h. Buy spare batteries

I feel so much better now that I'm getting enough oxygen. With a recent diagnosis of severe COPD Medicare would not cover oxygen for me because I can eventually get back to 85% without using on my own. Provider suggested I look into buying my own. The Rx oxygenators cost thousands more so I tried this first and it works great for me. I can walk or go somewhere without worry. Not too heavy to carry and included bag is very convenient. I would change a couple of things, backstrap straps cut into my shoulders and back so I replaced those with padded option for comfort (maybe I can design a fancier one for myself down the line). It is louder than I expected from description but hey, I can breathe so I can deal.with that. Thank you!

I ordered the Varon portable oxygen concentrator for my father when he got pneumonia. After he came home from hospital he used the Varon to help assist in breathing and bring up his blood oxygen level. It is very easy to use and works great. We compared his monitored blood oxygen level while trying out different settings on the machine until we found his setting. The carry case and car charging cable are excellent accessories that will enable him to take extended trips when he needs to.

My husband has severe COPD. We have tried other portable oxygen machines without much success. This lightweight machine is amazing!!!! I'm loving this new machine. My emphysema has progressed and on 4L 24/7 so I needed to upgrade. The battery lasts longer and easier to carry in the backpack. I'm waiting for the batteries to come back in stock so I can order 2 extra. Overall, it's great!!

My only problem is trying to return a unit that gets very noisy. It's been 3 + weeks and still trying . It's is still under warranty.

was a little apprehensive ordering online but I have been using it pretty much right out of the box. Recently diagnosed with emphysema and this is just what I needed to relieve symptoms when they flare up. Have been using it daily since receiving. Works great. Easy to setup. Easy to program. Only con is control panel is very sensitive to the touch at first but that is a plus after you start using. Highly recommend.
This machine has been a lifesaver for my wife. She has low lung capacity because of cancer and contracted a flu like virus that caused her o2 levels to drop. The VARON concentrator provides o2 levels of 95% to 98% at mid settings. This thing is great, low noise level and 50% of the cost of name brand units.
Unfortunately we were only able to use it once, my mother passed away shortly after receiving it.
The unit worked just fine, and it was great having something so small and portable instead of lugging oxygen tanks around. I wish we had gotten more use out of it, but I would definitely recommend this unit!
When we first received the unit I thought it a bit noiser than I expected. But when you are out and about the other noises can muffle the sound of the unit. Other than that very pleased. Thank You.
It's super convenient to have this portable machine. It's very easy to use and has a nice indicator to tell you how much battery is left. It's worth paying the extra money to get a bigger battery because the battery does drain quicker than listed.
The carrying bag is convenient. I wish the carrying bag was a little bigger so it can also hold the charger.
