What is the difference between continuous flow and pulsed flow?
Pulse flow concentrators deliver the required oxygen only when you breathe in. While continuous-flow oxygen concentrators provide a constant flow of oxygen, regardless of whether you are inhaling. Continuous flow is suitable for those who need a non-stop oxygen supply, while pulse flow is mainly used on portable oxygen machines for lower power consumption and longer battery life.
Does VP-6 have a battery?
Yes. VP-6 has a replaceable battery for portable use. Connect VP-6 to AC/DC power with the corresponding power cord to charge. The charging time will be longer if the machine is in use.
How is VP-6 powered?
For ultra portability, VP-6 can operate on three power sources: 1. Home AC power; 2. Vehicle DC power; 3. built-in replaceable & rechargeable battery. When using it on AC/DC power, connect the machine directly to the power source with the corresponding power chord.

This concentrator is great! I love the option to keep it plugged in the car or wall at home. It’s definitely does the job. And is capable of 5 liters. I highly recommend.
We were renting 2 machines, one portable and 1 for the home. Costing a fortune. Got this to replace them. Only use it for sleep and car. We have only used a few times so far but works well, is a lot quieter then the others. Easy to use. Hoping it lasts for a long time.
I am most pleased with the VP 6 which I recently purchased. It replaces a VP two that I had purchased one and a half years ago. The VP 6 is a little bulky but being a continuous flow oxygenator, I am still very happy with it. It also has a very aleffective carrying case which can hold up to four extra batteries or two batteries and the charger.
At first I used the shoulder straps but my friend couldn’t access the controls so I made a bracket on the side of her electric wheelchair and strapped it to her chair where she can access everything! The other residents at the facility all want one now.
The VARON 1-6L Continuous Flow Portable Oxygen Concentrator is everything it says it is and more! The ability to power it three ways ( AC, DC With car lighter and battery) makes it a great device for any situation. The noise level is minimal and oxygen flow is more than enough for the person using it.
My decision to buy the VARON 1-6 L has been the easiest and best.
Great product! At first we had trouble fitting the machine into the carry bag it came with. Reached out to customer service, and they sent us a video showing the correct way to do it. We tried and it worked perfectly! Now everything is fantastic.

Purchased for my father for vacation, my father ended up in the ER his oxygen got below 50! He almost died. been in contact with varon since August 7th with my first email about returning (that was preffered contact via website. did not hear back..on the 10th started a 'live' chat on website, was on hold for an hour. provided all details in the chat stating it needed to be returned. I emailed the chat to myself after waiting an hour. I then called the customer serv number, it is only a voice mail service, stating to leave your name number and they will get back to you. now the 17th , nobody has called nor responded to my original email about return. Heard back from chat service august 11th, they keep trying to bribe me to keep it, first $70, then $160 telling us we can sell it to someone else, sending me a return info page for some other website. Then saying they will refund about $430, which is unacceptable, for someone who is unemployed and on disability. This company is spacing out their responses, trying to get me past the 30 day from delivery return, they are trying to bribe me. been on FB to ask questions and denied! now they are saying only part of the bundle can be returned

Defective, almost killed my dad. Tried to contact since august 7th, company keeps trying to bribe us into keeping it, saying we can sell to others. i KEEP SAYING ALL WE WANT TO DO IS RETURN, the return window is 30 days from delivery. I even went onto the Varon facebook page asking how to return the machine, the Varon group is refusing to post my comment , it has been 5 day since trying to post. The only posts allowed are praises for product. They are only trying to bribe or give way less than what item was purchased for . Now trying to state only part can be returned. This company is a BAD BUSINESS and i would tell anyone to steer clear. Item was originally shipped from north america, now the return location is ASIA!?
VP-6 does not provide 89% or 90% as medically needed. Level 1 is 90, after that it drops down to 50% then 35% then levels off at 25%. It is no good for my needs
The concentrator seems to work ok. Currently, I only use it at night and only when I am away from home.
I do think your advertisement is a little misleading:
states that it supplies up to 93% +/- oxygen.
However, when I adjust to my doctor's recommended usage at 3L, it goes down to 36%.
with just a short run time the unit preforms very well !
my only disappointment is that when I increase flow to level two , the oxygen percent drops to 53 % -
I am hoping this unit will increase my stamina when doing yard work !

I like the unit where it can be plugged in for power. However, there should be a method to switch unit to pulse to lengthen battery life. Continuous flow devores the battery extremely fast making the unit unfit for traveling. My VP2 is much better for traveling as the battery lasts much longer. $129 for spare batteries is ridiculously high for no longer than they power the VP6.
My Varon VP6 Continuous Flow Oxygen Concentrator was what I hoped for. It has meant freedom to me. I was forced to stay at home every night because my big continuous flow machine couldn't travel and my portable pulse machine doesn't work at night for sleeping. So no travel. But my new Varon VP6 can take comfortable and safe sleep arrangements with me wherever I go. I have a new lifestyle because of this machine.
I do like the continuous flow, but the battery lifetime is terrible. Even at the lowest flow level and all other things silenced the battery power only last about 40 minutes, I purchased an extra battery and it is still still same runtime. The carry bag references it can hold 4 extra batteries and I have learned why, the machine is fine but it being portable the battery life is terrible
Being a mechanical designer by trade, I noticed a lot of thought went into various aspects of the device itself, and the travel accessories that came with it.
It was bought for my sister, but she likes its whisper quiet function and the thoughtfulness that went into the carry bag.
